How to lose 5 - 10kg before your wedding day
You have the date set. You have the venue booked. You have the guest list finished, finally. And, you have found the perfect dress…only it's just a little too small. But that's the one you want. How are you going to fit into it?
This is not an uncommon story, often ending with the bride to be, just choosing another dress that is nice, but not perfect. It does not have to be that way. You can have the dress and the body you want for your wedding day. All it takes is a lot of determination and a solid workout program and good nutrition.
So what can you do?
You can start narrowing down your food choices to only the fresh food varieties. Eat nothing out of a box or bag. No heat & eat meals from now until you fit into the dress. Your focus is now on eating fruits, vegetables, nuts, lean proteins and good fats. Even if you don't eat meat, you can eat more eggs and protein shakes as well as nuts. You can decide that fruit juice and other sugar-flavoured drinks are not going to help, so you can forget about them until after the wedding. You should now be eating breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner, and with a few healthy snacks in between.
Often, food is the most difficult thing to manage while trying to lose weight fast, especially while planning for a wedding. There is just so much to do. You often don't have time to think about eating, let alone shopping for the right food. But if you really want it, you can make time. You could shop early or late, or on your lunch break, or on the weekend. Or, make a list and get someone else to go shopping for you. Your friends will be happy to help. Plan ahead, and make the best use of your time.
You can commit to your new workout plan. You know that you can fit in at least three sessions a week. You know that these sessions are going to be really intense, but once you have done them you will feel more energised and will continue to burn calories through your workout and into the next day, thus dropping your body fat at a rapid rate. You know that you can't just go for a run. That's not going to cut it. So you make the time for your workout.
