| Wedding Ceremonies - Personalised
or Themed Wedding Ceremony
There are many different
kinds of wedding and commitment ceremonies out there to choose
from. Even so, tradition and ritual is not everyone's cup
of tea. Some people prefer to run their ceremony on a theme
or based on a personal idea or concept.
There are two ways you can go about organising
a personalised ceremony. One way is the hands on approach.
This means the couple sit down together and devise and write
an original ceremony. You can include music, poetry, quotations
or unique pieces in your service. The only rules are that
Celebrant legal authorization and mention of husband and wife
in the vows must be included to legally marry a couple. Without
the authorization and mention of husband and wife, this ceremony
may only be used as a commitment ceremony.
The other approach is to meet with your
celebrant and explain what kind of ceremony would suit you.
She can then create your service from scratch, bearing in
mind your morals, religious stances, and any themes or traditions
you want observed in the ceremony.
